2025 Michigan Celebrates Small Business Summit and Awards Gala in Lansing, MI

The 2025 Michigan Celebrates Small Business Summit and Awards Gala was held on April 21 – 22, 2025 in Lansing, MI.
Small business owners and supporters came from across Michigan to collaborate and celebrate the state’s vibrant small business community. Annually, Michigan Celebrates Small Business recognizes small businesses in a variety of industries and regions whose growth is supporting Michigan’s economy.
The 2025 Small Business Summit and Legislator Luncheon offered educational and networking opportunities for small business owners, stakeholders, and sponsors, as well as a robust Expo Hall. The half-day summit began with a Legislator Luncheon, where legislators listened to small business owners discuss their challenges. The event aimed to inform legislators about policies affecting small business operations and offered a social setting for meaningful connections.
VIP Reception, an exclusive networking reception, allowed awardees to connect with peers before the awards gala. It offered a brief program outlining the MCSB initiatives and facilitates network building across all sectors of award winners.
Capitol Day provided awardees with a better understanding of government operations and their impact on small businesses. The 4-hour session included meetings with leadership in the Michigan House of Representatives and Senate, as well as critical staff members and directors in state departments.
The 2025 MCSB Awards honored the many different ways that small businesses demonstrated excellence across the state.
